Dang it..
Well, my question are this.
We have a mayor that does not play that much these days and is already Master.
He has been asking that everyone switch there vote to someone else, as he wants to give someone else a chance at Mayor for a while.
We are having problems getting enough people to vote him out of office and all the votes just keep going back to him after each week.
Is there a way to get this Mayor out of office without the votes.. like transfering the cigyhall to someone else.. or having him take up resi in some small house some place?
The other question is, once the other person becomes mayor, do they need to have the lots free to keep the city hall.
I am sorry if this has been posted else where, but I do not want anyone to make a mistake on this..

sadly, there is no current way for a incumbent mayor to resign without being voted out. There have been many issues brought up about this but no word (or at least none that has gotten to me...) from the devs about it.
the city hall - cloning center - shuttleport are all buildings that require no lots. So a new mayor would still have all 10 lots available to them.

It did.. thanks.. so who owns the cityhall.. no one?
the mayor that we have now placed this cityhall.. does he own it?

The City Hall belongs to the City.. even though it's considered the Mayor's primary residence.
But be warned .. the Mayor has complete control over what happens to the City Hall. He can destroy it at will, leaving your city in ruins.
