Thread: Politicians other than Mayors?

I'm a Master Politician and used to be the mayor of Vicimus Naboo on Wanderhome. Due to increased real life responsibilities and too much "work" in the game with my toon, I decided to step down as Mayor about 2 weeks ago. I was voted out as Mayor on the first election (good organization and a city made up of active players) and now I need to think about what I will do with my toon.


Does anyone know or think that there will be other things for Politician besides being Mayor? I don't want to drop Politician and find out that with the Imperial Crackdown that Politicians become important or something.


Anyone? It was a big investment in time and effort to make Master Politician, I don't want to drop it and find otu I made a mistake. Will I ever be able to be more than a Mayor?

I don't think there will be any major focus needed to "revamp" the profession so it has any aspect of non-mayor gameplay.


Gamesystems like City Councils, Diplomates etc would really need a lot of develompemt and test time and the dev team will probably be occupied with the Combat Revamp and Droid implementation in the next 3 months.

It's not looking good for my Politician skills is it.

its a shame militia members with politician skills cant do politician stuff. It would be good if they could place decorations and mission terminals. The Mayor would be the only onewh couldadjust taxes and place city structures.
