We had an entertainer place a cantina many moons ago. This person has since left the game never to return. We were going to let the cantina degrade and poof, but now the system has changed. If this structure reaches 0it wont poof, it will just condem and we will not be able to enter it to place maintenance and since the person that placed it is no longer playing, she will never enter it to have the maintenance deducted from her bank account. We are now faced with an immovable civic structure in our city.

Am I correct in all the above? If so, does anyone see a work around? Maybe we should push for city mayors to be able to redeed any civic structure including hospitals and cantinas placed by someone else provided they are empty. The mayor is by defacto on admin list and responsible for removing anything inside the structure. SOE should rigoursly enforce any grieving or theft under that system.

I dont see any other way to deal with this issue. Please comment.

Still seems early, and I have not seen anything that is 100% positive on how it works, but what you describe seems to sum it up....one reason why we were fighting it.

Wonder if the corespondent can get us an answer on this issue since its a new problem (atleast letting a building decay to destruction on purpose)?

I've seem this "same" question asked many times since the announcement of the condition changes. But have yet to see an answer. I really wish someone would let us know how this will affect cities with non-active players.
