We had another citizen register to run for mayor today, but at least one of the citizens did not receive an e-mail notifying them of a new candidate. It may just be that the one citizen is borked because he also cannot use the voting terminal; it's stuck loading. His residence was confirmed on the city terminal and at his residence as well.

Has anyone else had this happen?

It's most likely that he is bugged. I had this happen toa coupleofdifferent citizens on different occasions a while back.They had the same problem, didn't recieve city mail and couldn't use the voting terminal. Everyone else in town (at least the ones that responded to the email and tested it) reported no problems either recieving the city mails or using the voting terminal.

Both of them submitted tickets and did have the problem resolved, but I would have to contact them to find out if it was a fix that they could do themselves or something the CSR had to do for them.

As far as I can tell, he's the only one this happened to. He was able to vote today, so I'd guess that whatever kept him from getting the mail caused the terminal issue.

if he lives close to the city boarder this MAY cause the issue, he should try placing a second house closer to the city hall and declare there and then when he can again declare to the house he likes or just stay declared at the second house to be safe, not sure what else might cause this issue

Nope. He's right across from the city hall. LOL

I'm going to keep an eye on him come time for the next election/registration. He had taxes taken out, so it's obviously registering him. Just something kept him from getting the mail.
