I am a bit foggy on this issue. I am wondering of residents of your city do not log in, at some point are they no longer considered residents? I know a few residents are taking breaks from the game, they have the maint paid up on there houses, but after a month or three do they stop counting towards the city total? Just wondering. With things like shuttle ports and the very city on the line, would like to figure this out, thanks.

The way the system works right now citizens taking a break are still counted as citizens as long as they don't delete their character and their house still stands and maintenance is being payed for. No clue as to the new change of houses without maintenace goint "condemed" and not being destroyed - don't know of any tests telling if the owner is then still counted as citizen ...
But the devs have announced a so called "character purge" that will delete charactes that havent logged on to the server for a certain time ... numberes aren't fixed yet but last the devs wanted to introduce this system it was 6 months

A purge for toons that haven't logged into servers or a purge for accounts that haven't logged into the game? I thought it was the latter.

It was my understanding that the purge would just be of accounts that have not been paid on for six months.

Ok, cool. SO at this point, I am safe. /WipesSweatFromBrow
I would love the purge as they talked about. With it focusing on accounts that have not logged in. I think 6months is too long, think 4 would be better.
But I digress.
Thank you again for the input.
