Sadly i have an issue with my statues. They are in plain site and nothing in their way, but i cannot move, rotate, or even remove them (they are in a terrible position). I keep getting the same error *CANNOT SEE OBJECT* sigh. does anyone have a fix for this. It's sad that a mayor doesn't even have the powers a home owner does for movement with the /movefurniture or object. Help is appreciated.

Inside a structure or outside?

I've heard of this . . . it's something that allowed the statues to be placed in an overlapping footprint of a building. Have you placed any buildings near them since they went down, or are the very close to an existing building?

Unfortunately I haven't heard of a fix though.

Does anyone know if the statues generate an invisible footprint of their own?

My guess is that, if they act similarly to fountains, they do.

So the original statue footprint that you never get to see could easily be making the other ones "invisible" then, perhaps? I don't have the ability to place fountains outside yet, but I'll guess they go down like statues do?

I've yet to place a Statue outside, but I have placed tons of fountains before. The thing with fountains is that you don't get an overhead view the way you do with a deed. You simply drop the fountain and lands centered with where you're standing. Fountains do have a footprint because there are times when you are 'too close' to another structure.

Since statues appear as themselves in your inventory and drop similarly to fountains, I'm guessing they act the same as well.

Okay, I've placed statues, but not fountains, but statues do the same thing as you describe fountains doing. I'm going to GUESS then, that somehow the original poster's statues got "hidden beneith" the footprint of the first ones he placed. I could be way off, but it's possible.

Can the original statues be removed temporarily to see if that allows you to access the newer ones?
