--hmmm how to get miscreants to leave our city without US being griefers.....consider this possibility


NOTE: bad guy must NOT be a citizen of the city. If he is, some other mechanism must be devised.


1) City/warn issued to the neer do well, costs 1000 out of city treasury (makes you real choosy about who can do it)


2) Mr;. nasty thumbs his nose and hangs around, within five minutes a second city/warn can be issued (2000 from city treasury)


3) The evil miscreant stays around, making mischief. After another five minutes a 3rd city/warn is issued (this one costs 3000)


4) Ten minutes after the 3rd city warn, a bounty appears onmission terminals in the city. Only militia members of the city can take the bounty mission. The successful bounty militiaman (and/or militiamen grouped with him) gets the amount put in by the city, plus an automatic matching amount from the Miscreant.....if the bad guy doesn't have it, next time he gets ANY income, it goes immediately to the successful bounty militiaman. and/or group.


Next time this miscreant enters the city limits, he has 5 minutes to leave before the bounty reappears immediately. This time the entire amount is paid by the miscreant upon successful execution of the bounty mission.



--oh yes, if he leaves before the 3rd warn, warning 1 and 2 expire after a real week, and money is returned to city treasury.




--or something like that. Perhaps enough to intrigue into commenting.

1) he's still in the town causing problems for about 25-30 minutes before anything can actually be done to him, and 2) someone still has to pickup the bounty and come after him at which point he may or may not leave.


While it's an interesting idea I think it takes way too long for actions to be taken against him and with little results.


"Please leave or I will ask you again" is about what it comes down to.

Or...Put it back the way it was, extend the timer to something meaningful (5 minutes?), and correctly implement no build zones.

And disallow /citywarn on CSRs (that one should havebeen a no-brainer).


Plus:
- Create a /cityeject command to kick people from city limits.
- Make /citybanban eject you and actually prevent you from entering city limits.
