Greetings all!

Set a 2% sales tax last Wednesday. Thursday, I noted the Treasury balance, and a Merchants balance, and purchased an item from his Vendor. His balance increased by the total sale amount - meaning the sales plus the 2% sales tax.

The City Treasury was unchanged.

So we terminated the Sales Tax.

Is this the common experience with Sales Tax?

*nods* ... we have the same in Tirius on Talus.

But it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes the "tax" hops to the merchant. Sometimes it seem to vanish and sometimes it seem to fall into the treasury.

But with trickling property taxes and other thingies you can't keep track of where what cradit lump came from.

Yep, Pooka described it perfectly... We're seeing the same thing...

Sometimes the tax DOES go into the treasury.

Sometimes the tax goes to the merchant (ie, vendor owner) instead.

And sometimes the tax goes to neither.. vanishing into never never land.

Please file a Bug report and CSR ticket in-game about this problem. The more reports they get, the more likely we are to have this fixed. "Squeaky wheel gets the kick!"
