master politicians have no powers, as such, i have the one power we need.. terraforming. I know this ability has been brought up before, but limiting it to the master politician will restrict its use to the larger, most established cities.

As a developer myself, I understand the SWG devs need to work off priorities, ergo I think this thread would serve nicely as a petition to add this feature to the politician's abilities.

I would stress this needs to be ourtop priority for anything to happen, as such - I'd like people to chime in on this post who feel this is their #1 issue that needs to be addressed at this time for the profession and player cities. Provided enough genuine interest exists, and the player's prioritize this as such, the Devs may take notice and move this to the front of the line, or at least near it.

If this were to become a feature, It should be a level 5, Master Politician Skill. It would be a real nice cherry on top for an otherwise under-developed profession. This would also take it out of play as a city "development" tool, and give the politicians something to do with their skills once their city is LVL 5, and they have reached master (rather than de-train to novice).

Even though my city is LVL 5, I can think of all kinds of grand things to do with terraforming. I have undeveloped areas that I could make useable, and it would give a whole new outlook on city site selection.

I love the idea of having a terraforming skill/ability as my city is located in an area that has too many ravines to count, but i disagree with the stated requirements above. It would be easier to get people and houses in to my lower level city if i could fill in the ravines around the city hall. I mean, we're advanced enough to fly in space and have light sabres, yet we can't even fill in a dang hole!?!?

I think it should be a novice politician skill. I think adding this ability to one of the skill trees and giving it different, more advanced abilities as you advance, say like in the first box of the tree it allows pavement, second box allow sidewalks or some type of non-joining wall or perhaps the ability to level a certain sized hill or cliffetc... and express the growth of the city through the cosmetic changes by allowingonlyhalf the distance from the border to the city hall be pavable.

Bridges would be nice too.

This is the trouble with this game. Everyone wants "easier." What should the Master Politician get for a skill them? "Planet Making?" Or maybe Master Politicians can make their own moon. After all, planets are a bit much. The profession needs a reason to exist BEYOND the novice level.

Something similaris being discussed by some people in the architect's forum.

Architects are asking for derricks or platforms that would allow structures to be placed on places such as hills and water.
