Tried to post this once but somehow my post evaporated...

Take 2...

Last Friday I won the election for mayor. I ran against the mayor who had to leave the game and it took a combination of constant SPAM begging folks to stop by and vote in an active mayor and adding new citizens to get the vote to go my way. I won the election 49 to 40.

As it turns out, I never got the XP to this day even. I reported it to a CSR after the next server reboot via the holocron. I got a response between the time I logged off and logged back in and also during that same time my ticket got closed. Apparently CSRs can't do that, but it happened... another problem all together...

So I read the closed ticket response and the CSR stated that the incumbant mayor does not get XP for the default votes.... Hello? I ran against the incumbant I was not hte incumbant... I opened a new ticket and also went to the SWG chat groups and vented/bent the ear of another CSR . He ended up checking the logs on the server and indeed verified that I was not given the XP. Okay so I thought my XP was coming to me at this point since the logs verified what I had been saying.

Well the CSR said he needed to see if that is the design of the game, to not give the challenging mayor XP. Everything I read indicates that is not true. I should get the XP since folks had to cast votes for me if I was not the incumbant.

Anyone else here won an election away from an incumbant mayor and notreceived XP? When the logs verifyno XP was given,and then still not get the XP?

It's going on a week now and still nothing from the CSRs. Help......

Not sure if this has any berring but I luckily had a RL e-mail address for theincumbant mayor. I asked him to log on and check his account. the message he got was that he lost the election to "%TT" and that "%TT" was the new mayor. Since the city mayor is an alt account for me on Bria named "Tacoma" the message shoudl have said tacoma...

My citizens of Paxare sittingpatiently as am I,while we try to get support from CSRAndyP. We wanted to get a garage dropped in the city, but cannot until the XP thing gets resolved. I must say that our patience is running a little thin however... I don't understand whysomething so obvious and simple takes a week(or more at this rate)to resolve? I don't get it......
