I found some AWESOME flat grounds and it's just perfect for a city. Can I build one even though theres a town about 1k meters away? What if i'm wrong on the distance and it's more like 500 meters? Also where do I measure from? The city hall?

Thanks!

Yes, it is 1km. When you attempt to place your city hall and it is too close to another player city, you will get a system message telling you and a waypoint for the other city.

Okay, say you have 2 cities right next to eachother 1k apart. What happens when they begin to grow towards eachother, until both ends meet? Or will there Always be a 1k meter space.

the distances between cities are measured from the city halls, therefore even if both cities grew to metropolis, there will still be space in between the city borders, and the distance between the city halls won't change.
