Thread: Question about taking over a city
I confirm, all vote always go to the current mayor at the city update... meaning that more than 35 peeps must vote for you if you wanna take over mayorship...
very painfull... I had to do that 2 times and I can assure you that you should begin to ask everyone (one by one) to vote for you asap if you want to be sure to be elected...
I still don't understand why there's no easy way to switch the mayor when the current mayor is agree to give his task to someone else... but well... I guess we could wonder about that for a while before getting something changed
yea losing mayer is very very hard. the auto voting system is hard so you just have to each week to have them vote for you if you tell them all to vote for you the day before city upday like send a mass e mail have both you and mayer do this : "citizens of city A, i would like to inform you i am stepping down as mayer and would like mayer B to be elected mayer and i must ask everyone's support in this matter, please go into the city hall and click on the voting terminal and choose mayer B.
Mayer B: "hello i would like to introduce myself blah blah blah blah.... I am taking over Mayer's A spot if everyone would please vote for me so we can make this switch as smooth as possible."
that way every one knows both you and mayer agrees to this switch and you will most likely get more then just 36 votes
