There needs to be a way to send e-mail to everyone residing in a city.
I would want this both for the mayor, and for any citizen that the mayor / city council / militia designates (like zoning rights but permanent until revoked)
This would allow better communication amongst neighbors in a multi guild (or no guild) city.

There is!
Put "Citizens" in the To field if you are mayor, it goes to everyone who has residency declared in town!

'citizens' with a lower case C works too! but you have to be mayor to do it

Well "Citizens" in the To field? Who'd a Thunk it! I'll try that this week for my weekly report.
However, There is a problem that some citizens just DON'T want you reaching out and touching them via email. So I built a citizens list in /notepad - and maintain that list manually on a weekly basis. Then I just copy from my /notepad to the To: field when I send my weekly report. While it's a hassle to maintain - because the Citizens listing on the Info screen is in NO order of any kind whatsoever!! - the weekly gain or loss of citizens is small enough to be manageable.
