My pay if we can call it that, is a working city with a good community spirit 
i get my credits by doing missions or sell something off my loot vendor.

How many of you mayors get paid for running your city? I know some cities don't pay your payors at all! 
. I usually take 10k out of the treasury once a week to line my pockets. lol What do you guys do?

Yeah when I was mayor... if anything... it cost me money 
And I don't have a source of income being a musician. I perform one or two shows a week so what you guys get in one mission I generally get a week... if I'm lucky
And to think... I'm trying to get back into that position just so I can keep paying into the city rather then the city paying me

Pay.... Hrmmmmm.....

So far, i'd estimate about 50 million credits so far. That i've spent on our city.
No Paycheck
Lots of credits gone
Uncounted hours spent on city development and day to day running.
Tons of aggravation.
And IMHO, New Haven is worth every damn credit

"Latest SWG news, mayors of strike"
It's been reported that several if not all mayors in SWG have gone on a strike to get a better pay, act. to varius soucers, mayors have not been getting any pay and they refuse to do anymore work untill the matter has been changed....
Reporter: Hello Sir, ma I ask you why you are on a strike?
Anomous Mayor: uhmm, money, yah, money, never been getting any money from doing this job, if not money, then atleast a few items, Rugs or money or weed
