Hello -
I am taking over as mayor of our small township Haven on Tatooine - Tarquinas. Our current city hall in it's current location is restricting city growth (there is a mountain very close behind it). We would like to place a new city hall in a different location that will allow us to better use the city radius fully. I have looked and didn't see any posts that address this issue. My questions are:
1) Can we place a new city hall with the same city name?
2) How can I find out if there is a current cap on cities that will prevent us from placing the new hall
3) How will this affect the current city structures that are in place (my char doesn't have the same amount of xp the outgoing mayor had.
If anyone has done this before or simply knows any information about this type of issue and can answer my questions and maybe even think of something I haven't addressed here, your help would be greatly appreciated.

well, if you want to be the mayor of the new city, then you have to first destroy the current city. assuming such, here are specific answers to your questions:
1) I'm not sure. it technically shouldn't be a problem, unless there's some funny server lag.
2) the caps on each planet are listed here, but there's no easy way to find out if the planet's capped. you'll just have to try placing a hall. you have to make sure that the city cap isn't met on that planet when you placed it, since someone can place a city right after you destroy your old one.
3) you won't get to keep any civic structures (cloner, city hall, etc), but all the player structures (like cantina) will stay in place. when you place your new hall, you will only be able to place the amount/type of civic structures you have the skills for.
