Thread: Election came and went no new mayor...

Our city updated this morning at about nine am and my alt Minnie should have become mayor, but it did not happen. The city updated as usual and money came out of the treasury but no new mayor! Our city is Crimson Flats, Talus, Kettemoor. Should I be sending in a bug report?

Are you sure it was a "voting week"? Mayors only cahgne once every 3 weeks at the same week votes are counted for xp. If it wasn't a voting week, the number of votes on the ballot box shouldn't have changed and there would be no mayor change.

election is every 3 weeks and i think ut is on the same day as the update

Ta da! The election finally occured. It followed the 3rd city update, rather than being timed exactly 3 weeks after the previous election. I saw here on the forum aquestion on the server pulse update message you get. It appears to take no more than 5 minutes, just enough for the system to look over your citizenry and structures and pull maintenance from your treasury.
