last week in politics

ok, it's been a busy month for me I did log onto TC to make sure my city hasn't burned down. I will start up the corr city with TH some time after the holidays, and start putting together the top 5 (I know it's been a while since I polled, but moving's tiring )

just want to say grats to the new corrs while I'm at it I've known all 4 of them on the forums or in game for quite a while, and I'm sure it'll be a pleasure working with them. I know Griggs visits here

I'm going to be gone starting tomorrow, and will be back tuesday. I'll be taking my brother to Disneyland I'll ask some of the other corrs to monitor the forums for me, so don't give them trouble Happy Holidays!

since it's Christmas week I don't expect as many posts, but feel free to post how your city is doing. I'll definitely read them after I get back

City of Mos Aga'me

Since we're based close to Mos Eisley, the town talked about getting a public crafting house in for the new people - since we're a rank 2 city only we can't have any specialations, so we don't expect to see the masters comming by....

I made the purchase of 5 stations all 43.5+, added a cheff and a tailor trainer - we recived a gift from a leaving player, namly res, grind quality and a few high ones - the city desided to sell the res for fair grind prices, any surplus goes in maintian to the house and vendor (Lucky i'm master Merchant so the expensivs has been reduced a tad ) we made a 390k profit from the first day, been having some visitiors - been having an barker droid at the Mos Eisley Starport.

We have been lucky in one of our citizens are going for WS, as i think every city wants crafters, this is indeed a good turning point for us and we have been aiding our friend the best we could, schematics, looted componets etc.

Slow week politically, Last week before next my first relection, and nobody running against me, so I suppose I'm doing a decent job. Have had a steady group of people move out of town as fallout from the fight last week. It was to be expected as a good portion of the people that where in town where there part of the guild that disbanded. We now march forward, with just over 55 people, so holding on tight. Luckily my guild has offered assistance if we need more people, but I am now looking into getting another guild to move in to help us out. I hope I can find one soon just for the reasured safety of having more people in town.

Well, I was elected for another 3 week term. This week turnout was worse than last week. I tried promoting the election on our city's website (bulletin board). I'm hoping that the turnout was due to the holiday. My competitor secured 2 votes this turn through. I really hope that the person who voted for her did so to help her get politician XP and not because they think I am doing a lousy job. My fellow candidate runs against me once in awhile, she says she doesn't expect to win, she wants to make the race more interesting and to get the XP. So far she's only ever had votes from herself.

I am hoping to play more and devote more time to my city after the New Year. Things in RL are just hectic. Long hours at work, etc. But luckily I live where it is cold and my cash flow is very choked, so it looks like a good time to stay warm , indoors, playing SWG.
