Thread: Maintenance Bug (old issue or new one??)

I just recently became Mayor of our city (Ahazi server) and it was nice to be able to do so with little trouble thanks to the new voting changes. It was nice since our Old Mayor was leaving game but did not want to destroy the city at same time. However something interesting happened with the changing of the Mayor Office. On day that change took place the city maintenance was charged, no problem with that since have to pay for the city. Well then 2 days later the city was charged again for maintenance. Doubt that this is normal (thought it was weekly charge) and was wondering if anyone else that has changed Mayors under the new voting systems has had the same thing happen.
So anyone else change Mayors then get charged maintenance fees several times within a few days?
Just curious as have already submitted ticket to CSR about this.

Yes this happens from time to time. Usually when updates or fixes go into the game this comes around again.
Keep on the CSRs until they put the money back into the treasury. They know how much was taken so they can refund it.
I think it's happened to Dohrian at least 4 times (not including the big one that happened every day a long time ago, or anything that's happened since I lost the election)

Ok.. Thought this might be an issue. Afterall half-million every two days is not a good thing. I kept both emails telling me that the maintenance had been paid, so have the dates and the amounts. So hopefully the CSR's will not give much hassle about this issue.
Thanks for the info.. just lot to learn about being a Mayor and such.

Yeah that's what I kept saying. The new mayor already lost our faction terminals and some streetlights. The lights she should be able to replace but she can't do faction terminals... and to think we had a great RP situation going with those terminals which is now... defunct.
