Thread: Can you take money back out of City Hall maintenance pool like a PA hall?

I know the mayor can take money out of the city treasury, but is the maintenance taken out of that automatically? Is there a seperate maintenance pool for the city hall and/or other structures?

If I start a city and throw 200k into the maintenance of the hall up front, can I pull that back out at will, or am I limited to the 50k limit?

First to answer the first question... The maintenance pool and treasury are one and the same thing, like PA Halls. Secondly, you may take the money out but all citizens will be notified of the fact that you took money out and how much, and you much type a reason why you took it out and they will be notified with that reason. You make take out 50k a day I believe(have to check me on this one).

Thanks for the info. I like the fact that you can include a reason why you withdrew the money.

To clarify, the mayor can also put money in to the city treasury as well, correct?

He would have to be able to. Otherwise a starting city would never have enough revenue from taxes to pay maintenance.

My only concern is that if it doesn't tell citizens how much the mayor puts in, then when he takes some of that back out to buy something, they won't know that it was his personal money to start, and may think something fishy is going on.
