Thread: City Terminal not working

We all know that sometimes the -second- time we use the city terminal sometimes City Info doesn't come up. And we all know that if we run outside and back in that usually fixes it.
But we are =all= that know!
I had a citizen use the terminal to check the treasury, then couldn't use it when they wanted to make a donation! If I hadn't found out...
And I saw a newb with the Novice Politician tag in Eisley. Sat down to talk to him. He asked how to successfully run for mayor in his town. I told him to write emails to everyone on the residents list...
He told me he had tried to use the city terminal but could not. He assumed that was because he was not yet the mayor.
Just because =we= know how to get around this major screwup we have lost interest in getting it fixed.
This is unacceptable. This =has= to be corrected!

I sent it in as one of our top bugs just this week (sales tax was the one I stressed the most, though). Right now this is nothing but a major time sink for us and causes confusion for those that don't know better as you said. It's been reported and acknowledged before, but it seems to be related to the line-of-sight issue that is currently plagueing entertainers. The thought is if they fix one, they'll fix the other. But we'll see.

I had heard that as well. Trying to listen to a band onstage so I could change my dance to match their music...
Going outside and coming back in didn't change that. Walking up onstage and targetting them did.
I've tried walking around the terminal and targetting it from different angles, but it has not yet worked.
Thanks for submitting it as one of our concerns.

No, unfortunately, it has not been fixed. Nor has the problem with occasionally being unable to mount vehicles, utilize factories or successfully drop a camp. These problemsmay allbe related to the LoS issue. I know the devs are actively working to find a resolution.
