Thread: Un-banning People

Hello, this has probably been asked a million times, but the search engine on this site sux (I'm really sure that searching for the two words "City" and "Ban" shouldn't bring up zero results) and I'm wondering how I can "un-ban" people... Just got a new city running, and I wanted to see if I could shoot at a noobas punishment, because healmost screwed up the city by declaring residency at a house and moved it a few seconds later (making it unable to declare until another 24 hours) whilst the clock was ticking away less than an hour for the "10 citizens in 24 hours" deal with the city hall. If I hadn't accidentally brought with me an extra 11th person, we would have been screwed. So, as punishment I wanted to see if I could shoot at him with /city warn. It didn't work, so I tried to undo it. I tried /pardon, /city pardon, a bunch of other stuff... Lol, how can I get him to be unbanned? If its permanent, I guess I won't be too sad to see him be run out of the town, but I feel bad for noobs. Can anyone help me?

/citywarn (which would allow you to "shoot at a noob") was taken out of the game....partially because of that "shoot at the noob" mentality. There is no way to force a player into combat with another player in that manner anymore. Thankfully.

In order to pardon someone who has been /cityban (which prevents that player from entering civic structures and using city services), the mayor or a militia member has to target that individual and use the /pardon command. They system will not allow you to /cityban a citizen.

Hmm... Thats odd... I tried /pardon and all it did was say "unable to execuse command pardon this is not a recognized command" crap... Is this noob doomed?

/citypardon ?

Or if they declare residence, then the ban would go away.

I thought /cityban was a toggle. Do it again to turn it off? Or /citypardon. I'm lost now.

it's /citypardon. /grant is the one that's a toggle.

/grantzoningrights is the toggle. /cityban requires the /citypardon command to unban a person.
