Hey guys me and a few friends just started our own guild/city, and to keep it standing we need to get 5 more citizens.I thought it would be far easier getting people to join, but turns out it isnt and the clock is ticking. If anyone has open lots on Intrepid, and could give me a hand here i would appreciate it. I will supply the house of course, and also if you want i will do use my lots on your server if you need them for anything.

Thanks for looking.

its just temporary. A way to insure that the city will be standing while i recruit more, thats all. Its not like im getting 10 members and stopping city growth.

Cross server growth is not stable. Barking at starports and giving away free speeders, houses, whatever... is not stable.

You want to get started- do it any way you can. You want to race someone to the highest population- do it any way you can.

You want to be around a year from now? Build a COMMUNITY.

If you must do this (it is, as the previous poster said, a very bad idea), please use the server forums.

I agree with all the others... If you want a long lasting city you must go about it in a way where you not only have live people as citizens, but also that the active citizens you do have feel a sense of community. Theme(imp, reb, crafter, etc...) and guild based are the ones that survive the longest, at least this is the trend I have seen on Intrepid. Lot trade cities are gennerally doomed from the start.

However, you do sound like you want to make a quality city and that your heart is in the right place. I simply advise that you take caution in how fast you proceed. Good fortune to you.
