As I understand it in general, you cannot accumulate more XP that it would take to complete two boxes in the skill tree that is affected by that type of XP. So the cap is not a fixed amount or a multiplier, but itisdependent on what your current skill levels are and what you have left to complete. How that works once you have completed all your boxes, I could not say, but that is the way it was explained to my son when he asked why he lost accumulated XP after dropping some skills.

In fact, it is not just a cap, but they will actually deduct XP as you give up skills, but not right away. For instance I dropped a box in Ranger last night to pickup a skill in another tree. Shortly there after, upon harvesting some resources from a Peko Peko, instead of seeing "You have gained x amount of Scouting Experience" or even "You have reached your maximum amount of Scouting Experience," it said something like, "You have lost 39,000 Scouting XP."I could only think, "Boy, I must have really screwed up that creature harvest." Here's the official response from GreenMarine on the lost mayor experience. This is concerning mayors getting no exp for an election. This is NOT about the 1 vote loss.

Any CSRs reading this thread should note that there is NOT a 2x cap on politician experience. It is a 20x cap.

HI there, we recently got our city with latest update.. Finally, but was wondering if there is a limit on politician XP per election?? I know each vote counts as 100 pts but is there a max or no?? thought it would be best to ask here as you can probably answer my question real quick.. Thanks For Help!!

I haven't run into it yet if there is and we have well over 100 citizens.

With no skill boxes, the cap is 20K. Not sure on caps with skill boxes.

I believe the limit is 20x previous profession
