I heard of covert scanner, though never personally had experience with it. What is it and what does it do?

In my house, PA, I can ban. Does "ban rebel" work to ban all rebel? Or do I have to list each one by one? Same question for city?

What's the etiquette if my city expand to include a rebel house? I don't mind paying for relocating him (though I'm not roleplaying if I do that :smileytongue What if he refuse to move? Would it be ok for me to ban him? I don't want to grief him. But on the other hand, I don't want rebel ambushing my imp citizens as they're coming home, either.

A Covert Faction Scanner (CFS) gives any Covert opossing faction member a TEF if they come to close to it. If you an Imp city, then Overt players,Stormtrooper, AT-STand Turrents (or whatever you have)can open up on the player then.

I dont know if there's a ban rebel command for buildings, it would be great for the GCW and RPing, but there would always be people who mis-use it

I don't believe there's currently any /ban <faction> command in the game.

Actually, if you give it thought, that's a terrible method to roleplay with. Covert rebels are supposed to be just that, covert meaning, not openly rebel, so really... They should have access to the building, to the empire, they should be neutral.

The only problem with a covert scanner is if you want coverts to come to your city and buy things. If you have crafters then you are going to be forced into looking the other way for them to make a living, they pay your taxs and in some cases make or break a city with donations. They upped the foot print of the scanner now (if you attempt to place it other then in your HQ base) so its not very easy to place it. You also should be mindful of not doing a scanner, turret, and clone center combo. No one wants to be caught in that type of situation (unless they fixed it so you can pick to clone elseware)
