I'm trying to avoid unnecessary trainer expenses by changing them all the time, so I'd like some suggestions. I'm going to have 6 permenant and 6 rotating trainers. As suggested by another thread, the rotating slots can be purchased for 20k donation to city hall and will be maintained for 3 months (or until another is needed, which ever comes last).

So....what 6 trainers do you recommend I set? And none of the basic profs, b/c it's too easy to find a player within 100 m that has the basic skills.

Thanks,

first suggestion: it's ok to not use all caps, I *do* read every single post

I would say place the trainers that a nearby NPC or PC city doesn't have, and is relatively popular. ask your citizens, and look around.

I also wouldn't assume starting trainers being easy to find.... they're rather common in NPC cities, but I had trouble finding people training me sometimes when I play on live. *shrug*

It depends completely on the goal of your town. If you run a manufacturing town, it would make sense to add the crafting trainers as permanents, as improved job market [or on planets like dantooine or corellia where people train] you might add combat elites.

a) choose them based on your town's vision... ie. in our case we are an improved job market on Lok... ie... high-end missions... we are also a PVP hub for the server with 9 hqs in 150m of each other... with this in mind we chose advanced fighting and hunting classes... ranger, rifleman, etc.

b) i'd recommend you open negotiations with nearby cities... if you come to an agreement with them you can publicly announce your trainers and drive business to your respective cities... as people will know they can be trained in that location... 3 or 4 average cities can work together to get all skill trainers possible and still have a few for (in a bind, quick changes of trainers)...
