Im a mayor of a city and I want to leave the city... Is it possible that if i go to another city and become a citizen there, that i will be stop being mayor of the other city?

ok ty for the answer... But what if there is another mayor running against me... And I go to the other town and become a citizen there won't the polotican running against me get mayor?

At this stage no. Theoretically, as soon as you redeed your house, or declare residency in another city, the city that you were mayor of will disappear on the next update (ie, the City Hall and all of the City structures will be deleted from the game).

I have seen instances where a Mayor has moved to another planet, declared residency and the city has remained, but this is not something I would bank on working for you.

You best bet is to get voted out - its either that or disband the city completely.

There is no other way.

No - the other mayor has to win first before you can leave the city. Sorry to be the bearer of sad tidyings but thats the way the Mayoralship works unfortunately.

lol ok..ty very much for all the help... But there is one question that i tried to look up in the help thing but couldnt really get a good answer for it... so here it is... What if i give up all my polotical skills will this effect the town in any way... or will it not allow me to give them up while im a mayor of a town?

You can give them up but you wont be able to do any of the mayoral tasks such as grant zoning rights, manage the militia, etc (depending on what skills you already have). Your town will still exist and you will still be mayor until you are voted out of office or your city is pulled down.
