Thread: If I place a city right next to a theme park.............

Will my city be stunted forever? Or will it kill the npcs spawns at the park. Will it over lap into each other.


What will happen?

I imagine that the themeparks have decent no build zones around them. At least they added a larger no build zone around the krayt graveyard.


My city encompasses the Jawa vs Tusken battle and sand crawler POI. It isn't a themepark, or even a POI that gives a badge. But the spawns still occur.

Dunno about no-builds around them - there are houses very close to the Emperor's Retreat on Starsider. I dunno if that means that you can't put a city hall close enough to eventually encompass the Retreat, but the actual no-build zone isn't that large. Mostly it's cuz of terrain that building is difficult around there.

as was posted, player cities dont kill "stadic" spawns, only random ones

you can place as close as you like... but a no-build zone will apply to the area... so you'll lose some of your territory... it will not effect the spawns at all... don't expect to block out a poi though... the no build zone will be large enough to permit people in no matter what...

This is one of the reasons that the /citywarn feature was cut out of the game ... cities weren't actually "blocking" the content from spawning - but the militiawas able to simply kill any player wanting to get to the content that the militia didn't like or that didn't pay the militia.

We have a small imperial base that is now in our city limits (it was originally right out of the way but we have grown a bit since ) to to date it has always spawned the same 3 imperial NPCs. They are very handy for the 60 fp that you grab whenever anyone wishes to head out to the Lost City of Durban .
