Actually it's unwanted factories. Some yahoos put up opposing faction factories right in front of our municipal buildings. It looks really ugly now and even if they weren't opposing faction, they still don't belong there.

Can themayor re-establishes zoning rights and kick the factories out? Or is it too late since these dorks put them up already? I have no issue with them putting factories in our city, just not in the location they stuck them. It just looks horrible.

Once a structure is placed, there isn't anything to be done about it other than contact the owner and ask if they would be willing to move them to an alternate location. Very often if you try to work with them politely to find a solution, most people are willing to accomodate you.

I would definitely recommend enabling zoning rights again if you don't want a repeat of that situation.

First of all welcome onboard (In an Offical capacity). Realistically speaking this is going to take cred to get them gone One of the other reasons the Mayor should have enhanced abilities.(Condemn). Or even the ability to tax the heck out of the current owner of the rogue harvester. While Mayors of player cities are renedered powerless in many of these instances, it is my hope that soon a city purge will happen and we can all live happily ever after. (at least we can hope)

Thanks for the advice. I know the intent was that people would put up houses or vendors. I don't think the Mayor took into consideration of this problem. Not sure if anything amicable can be worked out but it's worth a shot.
