I would like to know if these structures can be restricted to citizen use only. By that I mean that only the citizens of the city will be able to use the cloning center, and shuttleports, and can it be turned on and off.I want to preventraiding groupsfrom using them after we kill them off defending the city during a raid. This will effect the placement of said structures. I have searched the forums and can't seem to find a clear answer on this subject.

I'm not an expert, but I have not heard of this option beyond /cityban 'ing people as they come into the city. Someone had once asked if they could restrict an entire PA at once, for example, and the answer to that was no too.

There has to be someone that has a definitive answer for this question. I can't understand why sony makes this game so difficult to play. Why is it that there are no clear cut manuals for the things in it. We should not have to go through this everytime something is added. Should not explaining in detail be part of the additions to SWG. If we are going to have to do all their beta testing for them the least they could do is release the info on what can and can't be done or is needed to do it. If this is the future of SWG they had beter lower their prices! Oh and while I'm ranting **edit** do we have to buy a $50 game just for the cd code to add a new account, it's such a ripoff. I don't mind paying the extra monthly charge, but wasting $50 for a game box and outdated manuals that I already have is just criminal. Well sorry for the rant but I had to get that off my chest.

Welcome to the world of MMOs, where things change at any time and printing a manual that may be made obsolete in one patch can be cost prohibitive.

SW:G has corresponents to answer questions like these. You might want to post on the FAQ stickyed at the top of this forum and request it be added to the FAQ.

Anyway, you can't ban a group of people from your city services especialy the rest of the world. You can ban individuals.

You have to use /cityban, there is no way to set them private and actually using the /commands before were considered an exploit and are being removed from the civic structures completely. These are cities not your private house structures, they are meant for public use and besides raids are great for a city. They bring action and breath life into a city, this is the main reason why Ancherhead is so popular.
