I think its worthwhile to share this with everyone, and it works for shuttles as well.
We all know that faction bases have a HUGE footprint once placed. However, IF you place a cloning center or shuttle FIRST, you should be able to place a forward outpost right at the entrance to either facility, which means you can have covert detection active for both
There is one downside, if an enemy faction member is silly enough to actually bind at a protected cloning center or not be bound on the planet, and is forced to use your cloning center, they may NEVER escape, unless they consent somone to drag them out.
