Will our city ever be based on anything but dust? I would like to see paved streets and walkways like in Coronet.

Grrr, tell me about it
In the new 'Friday' Feature that they released today, all the player city buildings pictured are on paved roads... Maybe there is hope ![]()

Devs have said paved roads and walls for that matter aren't currently planned.

The screenshots they made of the structures are either on an internal testing world where they have a spot like that, or were made with the tool they used to create the structures. For proof I point to the player garages, which aren't even on test center yet.

It's a huge server load issue to lay all those road tiles down. here is my solution: make various street tilesthat you could choose from your Park deeds! Small, Med, Large, Exotic. This would go against your cap for civic structures, so you couldn't pave every road, but you could definately make the main boulevard look sharp - would be expensive - but it'd be sharp!

Have your cities full radius paved. As the city grows or contracts so does the pavement

I disagree, pavement would not be a server load. It works in big NPC cities. It is just a texture that needs to be loaded. Instead of sand or grass it is pavement. It could actually reduce server load since you don't have to load plants waving in the wind, just asphalt.
