Thread: 50 city cap now??? The servers are Laged to hell as it is now..
All I am saying this that this has to be the stupidest thing... I know its not just me but some planets have a 30 second lag because they cant handle what they have now... And dont say it me becuase i have cable with a 40 ping and 1.5 gigs of ram and a stable 26 fps... Plus if you add 50 cities how are people going to level?

I agree. I just got polotician myself... My group is ready to get our city underway, but we are begining to find it difficult to find a place that is
a. Not right on top of another city.
b. Not right on top of a structure that spawns gangs.
c. Open area where we can have room to grow and be able to place structures without haveing to worry so much about terrain being a problem (our guild hall is on a plateau in Rori... some of us have placed our houses near it and there isn't much room for anything else.
)
My suggestion is to not up the number of PC available per planet, but maybe a a couple more planets.

city cap raise is needed to give other a chance... BUT!!! it shouldn't be double.... I think they should have raise it by 5 across the board.. and see what happen...
Player cities do cause a lot of lag. Before we built our city on dantoonie, I spent a lot of time out there holo hunting and had close to zero lag. Now the lag is both very noticable and annoying. It seems player cities weren't doable with their current system. They'll need to change something, maybe an upgrade to all the servers with that 5 mil per month they are taking in?
Seems that hardware can't keep up with the software now. Time to upgrade just like everyone else. Until then the caps are a good idea, however annoying and crippling they are to people.
