The city income tax is currently capped at 2000 credits per week. This does not even cover half of our maintainence. This then either leaves everyone on the honor system to pay the remainder, or creates an undue burden on the mayor to hand write an accounting system.
Please increase the income tax cap. We should have the option to raise it high enough to cover total maintainence or even raise it to our hearts content.
PS yes I am aware of shuttleport taxes etc, I left them out on purpose.

We had to use the % tax as well (it will do houses and other bld.s)
However I wish they would up this too.

I agree. Our city maintenence costs are 1,524,000 a month. 66 citizens at 2000 each = 528,000 a month. This is not enough. The problem with property taxes is that some structures are extremely expensive, and therefore some people would be hit much harder than others just for providing the essential city buildings.
