Thread: Cover-blowing DeadEye Part 2 badges causing trouble in Player Cities
Kind of hard to walk around unmolested in an Imperial town these days when you have a viewable badge that says something like "...contacted Dr. Vacca for the Rebellion." Likewise for Imperials who are poking around in Rebel-dominated towns.
Do not indicate Factional alliances on a badge.
There needs to be a Neutral badge description, or at the very least, like a professional title, the badge list needs a toggledoption to be publicly viewableor not.
Please allow us to stay undercover, Devs.

Problem is that if you have the badge, and you area blue dot, they'll draw the conclusion that you are opposing faction. (You could be neutral, yes.. But that's not what they would assume)
Good point.
Well that seals it, I want to be able to hide my badges at will, just like my titles, and just like my searchability.
Well, it certainly gives a greater level of ambiguity.
We're trying to organize an inter-city duelling tourney for the cities on our planet. I popped down to the imperial stronghold city on our planet and was warned before I had loaded back to my GUI.
Fortunately, I type fast and they decided to ask questions first. ![]()
Having a "neutral" description at least leaves it open that perhaps I'm not covert.
It's not a big distinction, but it may help out in diplomacy situations. Granted, warn is going buh-bye, but for the time being, it's kinda tough.
