Thread: Raise the 50k Withdrawl limit
No, he wouldn't get banned. The city would disband due to lack of maintaintence, hence due to poor management. There's no way to prove the citizens didn't want it. A CSR won't replace anything, and the entire city is lost. At best, everything has to start again. At worst, someone else places a city hall elsewhere on the planet, and the city is destroyed permanenetly due to caps. I think it's better to have to wait several weeks for a med center, then to never get a med center because the city was destroyed.
You can argue maybe they picked the wrong mayor, but even the nicest seeming players sometimes go off the deep end and randomly destroying things. We've already seen halls being destroyed directly against the will of the citizens. Adding another way to destroy the hall dooesn't seem a good idea, when people are campaigning to get rid of the first way.
Though it seems most cities run with hefty donations from citizens. Perhaps ask some to donate directly to you, and not to the treasury, for the med center costs?
I believe the 50k is per day not per week. If you plan accordingly and start withdrawing the maintenance before the update I would think you would have plenty of cash prior to being able to place any structure.
I think the 50k per day is needed to prevent griefing, and rogue groups trying to steal treasuries.
I think 100k a day would be pretty good myself. 50k is too little, and doesn't allow us enough time to deal with emergencies, such as having to replace a bugged facility, or even worse, save a town's funds due to a gamebreaking issue like radius drift. I'd like to say that the chances of things like this happening are slim and therefore should not even have to be taken into consideration, but we ARE talking about SWG here. ![]()
