The movingcity limit is now touching our city hall. We have been told that we will be informed one day before the patch goes live and no sound of it yet. Must thereforebe at least 24 hours, maybe more, until the patch goes live. In our city the phenomena of the moving city has picked up speed. Can we do anything to stop it? No. Can we afford a new city hall? No, our funds are alltied up in the city hall. It was fun to spend these weeks with planning and careful recuitment but the end is now literally at our doorstep and so night must fall.Plinka, any word yet? Is the patch close or will there be a hotfix? Are our city simply doomed...

As a citizen of Mos Mosel I'm deeply worried about this phenomena. The speed of the pheonomena has increase 10x the past 2 days and our City Hall is now on the very verge of extinction. I'd hate to loose my/our city.

I hope a fix comes up realy, realy fast or we're doomed.

Thunderheart posted that the patch was not coming "early this week" anymore, due to vehicle bugs etc ... I fear it will be next week

I really hope they hear this faint scream ... faint since it is overyelled by the /citywarn issue ...

On our side, the wandering of the city fortunatly hasn't speeded up ... still about 10m a day, but waiting for another week that would mean another 70-100m drift ... don't know how long we can stand it.

God knows I am so sick of hearing about citywarn. The issue will be moot for cities that disappear when the drift gets them. We need to hit the main board and turn the faint scream into a loud one. **edit** city warn, how about city EXISTENCE gets some play?

To be honest, I think personally that the devs would like it to see some city went "poof". Why?

MONEY

Theyare re-building the game to a money sink. From armor and item decay to the new vehicles. All is based on money sink and a poofed city hall, clone center, bank would be great in their eyes. Thats why we have no hotfix, no emergency patch... thats why we have to wait for the next publish!

Hell, think about it! The city moving is a important issue and they dont hotfix it... ???

Well I'm making a nuisance of myself on the discussion board. It's the only way to get any attention to the issue.

It's the preverbial Nerf Terminator (no, not the governor of California, I mean the terminator of a planet)!

Seriously though, this SHOULD have been hotfixed as soon as it was found (unless the cause is still unknown)...

Historically the publishes have been on Thursdays - I think every single one of them has been on a Thursday actually....

While it would be smarter to do it earlier in the week - I bet that we get the publish this Thursday...

Ah, but don't forget that historically Thursday is 'early in the week'. Most published have been released 'early in the week' on Thursday. Possibly in the SoE offices, their weeks are a different length to everyone elses. *grins*

I read in another thread that anything major being done in the city causes more drift. Which means, ironically, that by moving houses to keep them within the city has probably increased the speed at which the center is shifting.

Hard to remember that your first mission was to drain the swamp, when you're up to you neck with alligators.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?

Yeah, I saw that . . . I only hope we last until tomorrow. As for TH . . . eh, I better not.
