It appears as though most people who frequent the boards, I have spoken to in-game, as well as the Dev's who invisioned and created the /warn command would like to see it stay...enough said.....

Will it be fixed and returned us? This is what TH today said,

This is a great feature and we will put it back in the game, but thats a future item.It is going to requiredevelopment time needed to re-design and re-implement /citywarn and we don't have that time right now.

Once we get through this round of feature iterations and additions, we will revisit the /citywarn feature and get it back in.

Is it going to be kept as it currently is? Well clearly not, whether we like it or not..that means there will be some "down time" until it is fixed. There are hundreds of great posts on how to fix it.

If we are going to be mature members of this community it is now time to show that side.

I propose the following-

1. The Dev/TH post an informativethread on the estimated ETA for /warn to be fixed, with weekly updates, no sophistry, no mumbo jumbo...just the facts.

2. On the same thread have a list possible fixes that could take place compiled from the Dev's as well as the many great ideas posted by players already.

3. Let us vote on the changes, via polling site, email, etc.... then show us the results with a time frame for the top 10 or so "fixes"..... then let us have a say in which fixes are implemented.

Let us have some input on how the /warn system will be fixed...let us see the choices, let us see the time frames....let us vote....and give the players a real role in developing this game...andin returnwe will accept the repeal of the current city warn without furthercomplaint and look forward to our role in this great games future.

Let we the playershelp shape the game as was the original intent, rather than just be a part of a system.

if the developers are prepared to go out on a limb and try to restore our faith in them after this fiasco by at least answering some of the possible temporary fixes that have been offered by the player base and just tell us why certain things cannot be done instead (like ban the abusers) then id certainly give this my support.

Sweatyclimber,

I'd like to think something like this will happen, the dev's have recognized this a is a very important topic, and while the wont return /warn in its current incarnation, I believe the players can have a role in shaping how it does return to the game
