1- Can a mayor place NPC trainers inside a building in a player city or do they have to be outside?

2- To get the crafting bonus in a Research Center City, do you just have to be within city limits or do you actually have to be a citizen of the city?

Thanks in advance to anyone with an answer or two.

1) only inside the City Hall. I've never been able to place a trainer inside a structure that i'm admin on or one I personally own.

2) I believe you just have to be within the City itself.

1) trainers can only be placed outside or inside any civic structure...

2) yes must be inside city limits.. and we have had guest come to our city just to use the bonus....

I've seen trainers placed on the roof of a guild hall.Probably this was not intended by the devs, because the guild hall is a private building that is not necessarily accessible to all city residents. It's nice, however,from the point of view of a city that does not want neighboring towns to use its trainers (I know of certain towns who have rather yucky neighbors).

On a related note, if someone is citybanned, can he or she receive training? Theoretically he or she should not.

Trainers can be placed on balconies and anywhere considered 'outdoors.' Players who are citybanned cannot use the trainers.
