Thread: Why are gardens considered City Structures and not Decorations?

Why is this? It doesn't make any sense. So for decorations I can either use Street Lights, Fountains or Statues but not gardens?

This is probably not a good answer, but anything that comes from a deed and has a foundation is a "structure". One of the advantages decorations have over structures is that they can be placed virtually anywhere, while structures are quite limited. I more or less appreciate the distinction.

Yes they are deeds, and are therefore considered Civic Structures. I think we need this divided even further to have Streetlamps not count as decorations. Streetlamps are almost a necessity at a per house spot considering when it is dark, it is REALLY dark. I know we could use the personal light feature, but hey, they gave us Streetlamps but placing them takes away from the ability to place Fountains and Statues which would truly be considered "Decorations".
