Hi Everyone,

I placed a city hall today on Dantooine near the imperial outpost. This community already had many houses and PA's before placing the city hall. There are about 23 houses and guild halls here now. I need help in getting 10 registered citizens by tomorrow. If anyone hasn't already declared residency in a house and would like a free house and speeder bike to place a house in our city and declare residency - I would love to have you. You must be imperial. The name of the city is Star Wars Matrix. The Waypoint on Dantooine is (-3396, -2644). If you are interested send me an in game email. I will be in game all night and can meet you at the waypoint listed above. If you are imperial and want to be part of a growing community for the empire, please send me an in game email.

yeah really need the server. and the name is the most commercial ive seen in this game.

You'e not exactly selling the benefits of your city here - a good mayor knows how to promote their city...

You'll get a better response by giving people some reason to move there:

1. What are the local attractions? What makes your city special? Are there nearby attactions?

2. What rate of tax will you set? Will it be lower than the nearby cities? What are the economic benefits for citizens?

3. What are the people like? What are the values that your city is based on? How is it run?

Alas, offering a free house and speeder is not really going to be enough to help your city grow.

In Darkfire, we have over 110 citizens and over 10,000 visitors a week promoting our city in this way.

Well we did it! We were able to get our 10 citizens 4 hrs before the 24 hr city hall deed dealine to become an official player city. We should easily be able to have 20 citizens by next week for the update to become a village. Met alot of great people in game who made this city happen. I am so glad this is all over and we have a player city now!
