Hello i am posting this here to invite all of you too.. even if you have to make a generic char on Gorath to attend.. we are on the global map and are easy to find.. (Naboo).. also I hope this gives all of you some ideas for your cities..

Hello everyone i am glad and very excited to make this announcement.. Bare with me.. this will be a little long.. I will go into detail on each event..

Everyone is requested to attend.. and Everyone is invited..

The Date: Sunday Jan 18th.. At 1pm PACIFIC TIME... Location Skara Brae Naboo..(gorath server)

The Events..

Skara Brae First Semi Annual Anglers Contest... This is a fishing contest that is to be held in the beautiful Skara Brae Bay which is location of some of the greatest Fresh Water fishing on the planet.. some boast in the galaxy.. The way the contest will work.. is you bring your own pole and own bait.. you have 30 minutes.. winners will be Most Caught... and single largest fish ..... Prizes will be 33% of prize pot for each winner.. Prize pot consists of 200k starter from Skara Brae and 100% of entry fees..

Unlimited entries so as many that want to particitpate can... Entry Fee is 5k... Entry fees will be collected before event starts.. You must show up by 12:50 PM sunday Jan 18th to participate

Skara Brae First Semi Annual Poker Run... This is a type of race..(any of you biker enthusiast will know how this works.. ) At start of race all contestents will be given 5 waypoints on Naboo.. you can go to these waypoints in any order.. At each way point will be a vendor.. with a backpack that you will buy 1 from each vendor..(will only be 5 credits per backpack..) inside the back pack will be a playing card.. once you have all 5 cards from each location(also there will be Beer in each vendor too.. as are suppose to drink at each stop too ^^).. you race back to the starting point.. winners will be first person back with all five cards.. and Highest Poker Hand.... Prizes will be 33% of the pot for each winner..Prize pot consists of 500k starter donated from Skara Brae and 100% of the entry fees.. 2 decks of cards will be used.. in the event of a tie with poker hands.. fastest time breaks the tie.. also .. if you buy more than one card from one vendor you will be disqualified...

20 people will be allowed to enter this race.. Entry Fee is 25k.. You may preregister starting tomarrow.. a vendor will be placed inside Skara Brae Mall tomarrow named Skara Brae Poker Run.. with entry tokens inside.. You must show up by 1:30 PM day of the festival to participate

Skara Brae First Semi Annual Demolition Derby ... This event will take place while the poker run is in progress.. There will be Two MAn teams ( you make your own team) One person will be on a vehicle One person on ground.. Object will be participants will target Opponant Vehicles.. IF your vehicle becomes destroyed then you can target opponant vehicles too.. After ALL vehicles are destroyed Participants then may open fire on all non team members.. (please no DB)Healing will be allowed By your Team member only.. Last team or team member standing wins.. Prizes will be 33% of the prize pot to each winning team member.. Prize Pot consists of 500k Donated by Skara Brae and 100% of entry Fees.. You may bring your own vehicle or one will be provided for 8k( landspeeder above 80% effective) There is a area maped out that you MUST stay within(arena)

15 Teams will be allowed to enter this event.. Entry Fee is 40k per team.. You may pre sign up after tomarrow a vendor will be placed tomarrow named Skara Brae Destruction Derby ..with entry fee tokens inside.. (only one team member needs to purchase this token) You must show up by 1:40 PM day of event to participate..

Special Jedi Duel.. Held in Skara Brae Theatre... these two jedis (no not brand new char. either) have asked to do a special duel.. Please respect this and No attempts by Bounty Hunters on their lives.. they are already going to give you an advantage by revealing themselves to all..

BLUES Spectacular Revue.. this will be a live concert and Show.. (it will be their best performance ever)

Skara Brae FireWorks Display ..

Grand Ball ... This is a dance that will finish out the festival.. every one can dance live music will be provided..

Skara Brae Raffle.. this is a special event.. All Proceeds will go to the treasury of our city .. We wanted to do something different than the average auction.. So far items that are available are Prenerf krayt pistol.. Holocron.. Each type of large exotic garden... A complete set of 80% Kinetic composit Armor.. A complete set of 43.30 effective Crafting stations(as a set).. Many more items to be added too.. the way this works is you come buy a raffle ticket.. your name will be given a numerical value.. As soon as the raffle ticket sales are closed and all names are given numerical value we will go down the list computer will randomly pick a number the person that has that numerical value wins. Prizes will be announced and Delivered within 48 hours of the festival.. Many more items are going to be added as well..all items will be placed on the rafflevendor for u too look at..(to be placedall week too) How this works.. a vendor will be placed in Skara Brae Mall Named Skara Brae Raffle.. there will be ONLY 2000 tickets.. You may start purchasing these tickets TOMARROW and You may buy as many tickets as you wish.... Ticket sales will be closed at 3 pm Pacific Time on Jan 18th.. This is a unique attempt to give more people an opportunity to get some High end items.. But do to the value of the items donated.. Half of the ticket sales must be sold to make this event valid.. Refunds will be available if this happens and a normal auction will be held..

Raffle tickets are 5000 credits each ..

As You can see.. this is a very planned out event.. and will be extremely fun.. all vendors for these events.. (raffle and entry fees) will be just at the top of the stairs at the Skara Brae Mall entrance ..

If you dont show up for the event there will be no refunds..

hehe .. we named this after the real city in scotland.. lol i never even knew this was used by a few other games till we already were rank 4.. lol .. ( i am assuming that is what u mean by the oh so long ago post .. lol .. ) any way . it is amazing.. the similarities of our city and the real place.. i have pics of both .. its spooky ..
