Hey,

I was wanting to know as I remember people asking for a resign button, If someone has registered to run for mayor and sinse you need the polition skills.

IF you got rid of them wouldnt that be resigning?

Currently even if the incumbent mayor has dropped all of his/her politician skills and has an opponent running against them it is still possible that they will win the election. The current system does not invalidate you as a candidate because you no longer carry the Politican skills.

So, if you were to win an election, then drop all of your skills, you are still considered the incumbent mayor. That means that even if someone runs against you they still need to get more than half of the town to vote against you in order to win. Anyone who does not vote automatically has their votes thrown behind the incumbent mayor so this can be a tricky thing to arrange (particularly since only a portion of the active population typically votes, and moreover there are usually a number of players who log in only once every few weeks).
