How does it work?

I thought it adds experimentation points but I still have only 10 doctor experimentation points after my city got the research specailization.

In summary it allows you to achieve the same results with fewer skill points.


Say you have 2 experimental items medicine strenght and doses. Without research specialization it took all 10 of your skill points to reach 92% effective on medicine strength. Now with research specialization you should be able to reach 92% with 7 or 8 skill points (it adds 15% to your experimentation rolls). So you know have 2-3 points to spend on doses.


It does not let you exceed the highest possible effectiveness of 92%, just makes it easier to get there.
