There has been a good deal of discussion and questioning on this forum regarding a brief statement made by Thunderheart back in December:

"I know in January, we're having a special city mission thats been especially designed to whre 2 NPCs will be buying off player votes with some neat loot."

Most of the concern was that this was some kind of cruel joke being played on the Politician players by the devs. Rest assured, there won't be any NPCs in player cities trying to bribe your citizens into not voting for you. This is something that will occur in static cities and will not affect player-politicians. It is not meant to be a form of content for Politician players.
