I tihnk the subject says it all, I had dreams of starting a player senate on flurry...uniting all of us would-be politicians and maybe being able to spice up the game a liitle bit more.
But now that im quitting as mayor i guess theres no point to it.
Who knows i hear the Devs are working on a senate option or something similar to it,I doubt its going to happens anytime soon.
If anyone has any interest on teh flurry server in rekindling my ambition, please reply or send me a tell in game.
One frustrated mayor to anotehr, this entire politician profession needs MASSIVE restructuring...lol
And to think I could have gone bounty hunter..........To think i could have not wasted 3 million credits in 3 months....
i shoulda been a twi entertainer.......

Because in the timeframe in which the game is set, there was no senate as it had been disbanded by the Emperor. There were regional goverments but these were run as mini-fiefdoms by thesector governors. One would assume that the Corellian sector had its own Imperial Governor and Imperial advisors running the affairs of the region.

There is nothing stopping mayors from forming their own networking device, and with the advent of the chat channel upgrades, nothing stops mayors from having their own chat channel to discuss issues and hold meetings.
As far as the need for an in-game mechanic, what would you want to see the game do for this? Personally I don't see much it could do for mayors as a group, but perhaps if someone had a game mechanical purpose for it, it might get some attention in the future.
