I've tried in other Forums with no luck, so I'll try this one with my fingers crossed. The Mayor of my city has invited me to join the Militia. So he brings me to the machine in the Guild Hall and works his magic. But the problem is it keeps saying I need to be 10m from him even though I'm right next to him and the machine. He then tried it with another player yesterday and he had the same problem again. Because of this niether of us could join the Militia. Does this happen to everyone? Is this Guild Hall bugged or something? Was wondering if anyone else has this problem or is it something that hasa simple solution. Any help or advice would be great.

To add militia, the mayor uses the City Management Terminal in City Hall - Not the Guild Hall.

Please confirm if mayor,

+ haspreviously added militia ?

+ has Martial Policy I: Militia ?

+ is using the City Management Terminal (room on the left of City Hall) and NOT the Voting Terminal ?

Give that a try.

As for joining your PA, get a hold of the Guild Master.

The only think i can think of that might be an issue is if the City is in the middle of an update at the time. Assuming that all the prerequsits are met I havent hear of this bug before, unless there is some unknown cap on the number of Milita members and its bugged how it tells you.

I was the other player being added and he has added me to the militia before (I was dropped when the city downgraded and myresidence fell outside the new borders forcing me to change residences). Our mayor is a Master Pol. and was using the City Management Terminal in our City Hall. It just keeps saying I'm not within 10m. Maybe I need to move my computer within 10m of his? Have any other Mayors added players to their militia recently? Could be something got broke by Pub 9 or 9.1.
