Things have come about that I have recently returned to the game and was asked by the current Mayor of our quaint little city to take over the Mayor position so he can ready himself for the up and coming JTL. He needs his politician Skill Points back and his burden needs to be lifted a bit with all the other hats that he wears in this game.

Now, last week we posted on our website for all citizens to go out and vote me in. He also sent a city wide, in game, e-mail for all citizens to go to the polls and cast their votes.

When the update came through, of course the encumbrance vote won out and everything reset back to zero.

Now, the question is, all the MIA citizens, is there anyway outside of nothing, to get them to cast their vote?

I have no idea where 1/2 or more of these MIA citizens are and wondering how I can get 51% of these votes to help him out.

I had to add every single citizen to my friends list and send them individual tells to get them to come and vote. But, if 50% of your city doesn't logon anymore, you could be in trouble.

First, visit the City Management Terminal and see exactly how many citsareregisteredon the cit list.

Then, continue monitoring your votes in the Voting Terminal. ONLY way is to get 51% votes.

You may want to contact SOE to request they run the 6 week of inactivity to remove cits from you cit list that have been inactive for over 6 weeks. That may help a little in your favor.

Add all the cits to your Friends List in Ctrl+P. Then, from your Friends List in Ctrl+P, select the email option - and ask them to vote. Constantly monitortheFriends List in Ctrl+P to see if & when they are logged on and make sure they have voted for you.

Recruit whatever number you need.

You (and the old mayor) may want to put as many notices around as you can to vote for you.

Thank you for your suggestions. Soon as i am able to log in tonight i will do just that and add all the citizens to the friends list and contact them as they come on. Hopefully this can be resolved soon. He wishes to move on and take care of other buisness.

I forgot to also mention:

One other thing you can do is tip bank every player on you cit list - that should tell you how many are 'really' active or not. (just tip bank a buck)

and you are saying if the tip goes through they are active. that is a good plan. will give thata try as well. thanks
