Thread: Narrowing down the XP/expansion Bug
Since I don't trust the CSR's to keep accurate records of this by any means, lets do what we can to log who is getting XP and Expansion and who is not with every bit of information we can possibly provide. You never know what segment of code could be the one preventing XP from coming through.
Please list the following:
Missing XP: Yes/no, number of weeks/XP lost
Missing Growth: Yes/No, number of weeks/Accurate Rank to Current Rank
Server
Location (preferably coords, but also list your physical location description best you can so we can look for trends)
Age of city (when it was placed to the best of your recollection)
Species
Sex
Other Skills
Did you surrender skills to take politician and which ones
Do you notice any radius drift in your city
Is your city experiencing any other blatant bugs (ghosting, no radius recognized, not recognizing citizens, citizens being kicked out for no reason)
Which trainer taught you Novice Politician?
Do you stay in your city when you are expecting to level?
Do you stay near a trainer when you are expecting to level?
If you gained XP/growth one week but not the next, did you do ANYTHING different that you can think of?
Provide any other pertinant information that you think might be helpful (PLEASE do not rant here).
I'm asking every Mayor, whether you are experiencing problems or not, to please fill this out. Knowing what works is as important as knowing what doesn't.
If you can think of anything that I left out that might be helpful, please add it. I'll start:
Missing XP: Mayor XP only, two weeks worth
Missing Growth: Unknown (have not qualified for growth)
Server: Scylla
Location : Naboo,near -3015 -40. Approx 2500 E of Lake Retreat. Buildable area of radius approx 75%.
Age of city: placed approx 10-15 minutes after server-up after patch
Species: Wookiee
Sex: Female
Other Skills: Pikeman 1/1/1/0, CH 2/3/4/4, Novice Markman, Novice Medic 1/0/0/0, Scout 4/0/4/0, Brawler 1/0/0/4
Did you surrender skills to take politician and which ones: Surrendered Novice Artisan and Novice Entertainer
Do you notice any radius drift in your city: Radius has appeared to drift North approximately 15m
Is your city experiencing any other blatant bugs: Random citizen addition delay, ghosting across town border, "cloud world" in homes, house furniture not loading, ghosting entering/exiting homes, homes added due to radius drift
Which trainer taught you Novice Politician?: Deeja Peak
Do you stay in your city when you are expecting to level?: No
Do you stay near a trainer when you are expecting to level?: No
If you gained XP/growth one week but not the next, did you do ANYTHING different that you can think of?: N/A
Provide any other pertinant information that you think might be helpful (PLEASE do not rant here). Can't think of anything else.

Missing Growth: On schedule, other than the missing time from server downtime. Rank 3 in 2 weeks.
Growth to rank 2 was on Friday at about 7pm CST. Growth to rank 3 at 4am Saturday morning.

Location: Dantooing 3km SE of the rebel themepark
Age of city: Placed at about 4pm Thursday 11/13/03

Is your city experiencing any other blatant bugs: Clicking city advancement and Maintenance report just stopped giving me the timer message yesterday

Do you stay in your city when you are expecting to level: Yes, I have been in the city and inside my city all, near the terminal when the updates occured
Do you stay near a trainer when you are expecting to level: No

Growth to rank 2 was on Friday at about 3am MET. Growth to rank 3 at 6am Friday MET.

Location: Tatooine, 3km from Bestine, Anchorhead, Wayfar ... Lowland Basin (nearly totaly flat)
Age of city: Placed at about 9:30 pm Thursday 11/13/03 (MET .. Middle European Time)

Do you notice any radius drift in your city: Nothing except the usual 5m difference
Is your city experiencing any other blatant bugs: CSome "short time ghosting" when entering buildings at times - very many invisibles after redeeding house, dismounting, exiting buildings
Which trainer taught you Novice Politician: Bestine, Tatooine
Do you stay in your city when you are expecting to level: No
Do you stay near a trainer when you are expecting to level: Yes
Other things noticed: I always had somebody running against me, that also got 1 vote at the end of the update (once it was his own, once it was mine)

Missing XP: Yes! Last week fine, this week not =(
Missing Growth: On schedule, other than the missing time from server downtime. Rank 3 however sorta pointless without the xp... Med center tho thats something I guess.

Location: Dantooine (3.5k from Imperial and Mining posts, literally in front of Kunga Caves and 1.5k from Warren)

Other things noticed: Well, doesnt matter if you were logged or on to get xp, whether someone was runing against you or not, or if you had xp left over. Another friend had those like I did and he got his xp...

Provide any other pertinant information that you think might be helpful (PLEASE do not rant here). Elected 31-1-1 week 1, 50-1 week 2, went 1/1/1/0 week 1 and 2/2/1/0 week 2, 0 XP remaining both weeks. No taxes implemented
