Thread: Tied Election Bug
Our city worked well for the first election, everything turned out fine (cept the loser didn't get XP but that's been documented).
However, our last election was a TIE. The incumbent mayor got the office, but the email that came out said that the other candidate was the incumbent and got the office.
Also, instead of the votes all defaulting to our current mayor (the REAL incumbent) all the votes defaulted to the losing candidate.
HELP!
/bump
I don't know if anyone else has had a tied election (is ours the only "true" election going on?) ![]()

Oh wow that sucks... I would /bug it and fill out a ticket. It took me 3-4 days to get my missing 100 xp from a CSR after I filled out a ticket. I am assuming they would fix this in about the same time frame.
I guess we now know the answer to all those questions about what would happen if an election were tied: Total Chaos! ![]()
Oddly enough, this isn't what anyone guessed.

Update:
Our incumbent mayor DID get the xp, but I don't know if the other candidate did.
Votes still are defaulted towards the loser of the last election, so we're having to have everyone come and re-vote (for those that want to, that is).
We'll see if this affects the next election, since the incumbency is messed up somewhat.
