I have a question about changing mayors. My guilds city has a master (or close to it) politician. What would happen if we elected a new mayor with just the novice skill? would we lose all the abilities (such as having a bank, shuttle, and cloning center)? or would our city still be able to use them?

everything remines the same, the new mayor just won't be able to put down anything new. Even the city statues (Research Center, Stronghold) remains the same. The other mayor can drop all their skills if they wanted to and everything will still be there.
We changed mayors in our city, as soon as the rest of the gardens are put down i'm dropping everything down to 0120 (enough to change trainers, and organize milita).

what happens if there are 2 people running for mayor and the incumbent one drops his politician skills and wins the election anyway?

You wouldn't lose the current structures, at least not if the system works right. You're only supposed to need the skills to place the structures.

If the incumbent wins and has no politician skills,then the City Hall dissapears ... I think this was confrimed.
